Removals — at a glance
- Quotation validity
- Quotations are valid for 28 days from the date of issue.
- Liability
- We accept liability for loss or damage to your goods subject to the limits and exclusions set out in the agreement. Please read the liability clauses in full.
- Items we cannot move
- Hazardous items (and certain other categories) must not be submitted for removal or storage. Make your own arrangements for these.
- Declared value
- If you do not give us a declaration of the value of your goods, our liability is limited accordingly.
Storage — at a glance
- Minimum term
- There is a minimum rental charge of four (4) weeks.
- Quotation validity
- Prices may change if the quotation is not accepted within 14 days, or if services are not carried out within 2 months.
- Payment
- Balances must be settled by 3.30pm the day before delivery. BACS, debit card, credit card or direct debit are preferred; other methods may carry a surcharge of up to 5%.
- Access
- You may access your property at the storage facility with 72 hours' advance notice.
- Cancellation
- More than 10 working days' notice: no charge. 5–10 working days: up to 30% of the contract price. Under 5 working days: up to 60%. On the day: the full contract price.
- Cooling-off
- For agreements made online or by phone you have 14 days to cancel without giving a reason — unless you asked us to start within that period and we have begun.
- Arrears
- If your account is in arrears you will not be able to access your property until it is settled. Continued non-payment can ultimately lead to sale or disposal of stored property, following the notice periods in the agreement.
- Our liability
- Our liability begins when your property comes into our custody and ends when it is delivered or collected, subject to the limits set out in the agreement.
Discounts
Military 15%, NHS 10%, student 10%. Proof of eligibility may be requested. Discounts cannot normally be combined; full terms are confirmed at booking.
Governing law
These agreements are governed by English law, and legal proceedings concerning them may be brought in the English courts.
